Laura first entered the sport at University in 2017; since then, she has raced on British Triathlon Age Group Teams and worked her way up the ranks. She is now racing as a Long Course Professional Athlete in her second year.
Laura takes a very individual, athlete-centred approach to coaching. She is using her degree and passion in Sport and Exercise Science & Exercise Physiology and understanding and building relationships with each athlete to help bring a complete bespoke and tailored plan to help them reach their triathlon goals around injuries, work, family & lifestyle.
For most, triathlon is just one aspect of each athlete’s life; whilst training can be challenging at times, the underlying foundation still needs to be fun and enjoyment to help you get the most out of yourself.
Education and learning through the coaching process are also essential to her. Not just the why for each session, but she aims to help each individual understand their body responses and use this to their advantage when building up to peak for a race.
